MENTOR, OHIO – December 19, 2018– STERIS Corporation announces the addition of a biofilm removal label claim in the United States for STERIS ProKlenz® ONE Alkaline Cleaner following an update of the past registration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This performance claim, in addition to the product’s claims as a disinfectant and virucide, demonstrates the efficacy of ProKlenz ONE as both a cleaner and disinfectant. This new label claim is the result of extensive testing and development in the removal of biofilms from hard, non-porous surfaces.
